Authorities searching for elderly man from DeBary in a 2015 red Honda Civic

Taylor County residents are asked to be on the lookout for an elderly man in a 2015 red Honda Civic who is missing out of DeBary, Fla.

On Sunday, Oct. 19, a “Silver Alert” was issued for Richard Butler, who was last seen in DeBary, Fla.

Butler was last seen in the area of Foxhill Court in DeBary, wearing a blue plaid shirt, khaki pants and a black belt.

Butler stands 5’7” tall, weighs around 150 pounds, and he has brown eyes and white hair.

Authorities believe he may be traveling in a 2015 red Honda Civic with Florida tag number Y91AMN.

According to news reports, Butler may be in the Taylor County area, although this has not been confirmed. The reason for his disappearance was also not provided.
