    TSCO restricts inmate work squads

    An ongoing budget rift between the county commission and Taylor County Sheriff Wayne Padgett has resulted in the loss of inmate work crews for a wide range of mowing and maintenance projects, including several special details for the upcoming festival weekend.

    Taylor County Sheriff Wayne Padgett has followed through with his pledge to restrict the use of inmates working outside the Taylor County Jail if his budget was cut.
