County files response to sheriff’s budget appeal defending funding cuts

The Taylor County Commission has submitted its official response to the Florida Administration Commission, answering Taylor County Sheriff Wayne Padgett’s appeal of his 2025-26 budget, which was reduced by $320,000 from last year’s funding level.
