It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gloria Fay Brown, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend, who left this world on Oct. 23, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on Nov. 7, 1948, in Perry, Gloria was a cherished member of her community and a steadfast presence to those who knew her. As a homemaker, Gloria At Dorsett Stadium to nurturing her family and ensuring that every moment spent together was filled with love and warmth. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was sewing cherished garments, diving into a gripping novel or sharing wisdom and fellowship during Bible Study. Her love for the outdoors was evident in her passion for fishing and the many beach vacations she enjoyed with her husband, Tim, and their beloved family. Gloria’s greatest pride and joy were her grandchildren, whom she adored and cared for with unwavering devotion. She created memories through with her lasting them gentle guidance, boundless love and nurturing spirit. Her legacy of kindness and compassion will forever resonate within each of them. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Ruby Woods. She is survived by: her husband of 52 years, Tim Brown; her children, Gloria Louk (John) and Robert Brown (Lissette); her grandchildren, Kristina Walker (Eli), Delanie Louk, Josie Cruce (Cody), Caelyn Brown and Tim Brown; her great-grandchild, Della Cruce; and her brother, George Woods; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held to honor Gloria’s life and memory will be held at a later date. In this time of sorrow, we remember Gloria Fay Brown not only for the loved ones she leaves behind, but for the warmth and love she shared throughout her life. She will be deeply missed, but will always be held close in our hearts.
