Free vaccines, low cost rabies shots available Nov. 15

Low cost rabies shots will be available at a Free Pet Vaccine Clinic planned this Saturday, Nov. 15, at Forest Capital Hall from 9 a.m. to noon.

Rabies shots will be available for $15 each, and will be administered by Dr. Will Sapp with Perry Animal Hospital.

“We welcome all healthy dogs and cats. Cats must be in carriers, and dogs with a collar and leash.

Some of the most common and deadly pet diseases are preventable. Help us stop the spread and ensure your pets are vaccinated,” said Taylor County Animal Advocates President Jackie Koeller.

The free clinic, and low cost rabies shots, are available to area residents thanks to the group’s partnership with Petco Love, along with rescue partners Hearts for Hometown Dogs, It’s Meow or Never for Ferals and Big Bend TNR Cat Rescue.
