It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kimberly “Kim” Dawn Parker-Hammock, a beloved wife, friend and dedicated member of her community.
Kim was born on Sept. 22, 1964 in Niceville, and departed this world on Nov. 21, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
A resident of Perry, Kim was known for her caring nature, vibrant spirit and unwavering dedication. She graduated from high school and spent her professional life working at Perry Save-A-Lot, where she excelled as an assistant manager.
She greeted everyone who came in with a smile and a warm-hearted welcome. Her work ethic and commitment to her role were matched only by her passion for nurturing those around her.
Kim took immense joy in tending to her flower garden. She loved to share her plants with others.
Her affection for the outdoors extended to sunny days spent on her boat, exploring the rivers and basking on the beach.
These simple pleasures brought her great happiness and were a testament to her zest for life.
Kim was devoted to her little furry companion, Fia.
Her warmth and generosity were felt by all who knew her, and she leaves behind a void that will not be easily filled.
Kim is preceded in death by her father, Freddie Parker.
She is survived by: her loving spouse of three years, Wayne Hammock; her two sons, AJ Hoiles (Mariah) and Dustin Miller, both of Clarkesville, Tenn.; her two granddaughters, McKinzie and Aurora Hoiles; her mother and stepfather, Judy and Reggie Roberts; her siblings, Dana Adams of Perry, Todd Roberts and Kelly Hensley (Steven) of Opp, Ala.; her father and mother-in-law, Bill and Uveda Sadler of Perry; special cousins, Denise Griner and Debbie Brown; and special aunt and uncle, Elouise and Bobby.
Her spirit will forever be cherished by her family, friends and all those whose lives she touched.
Kim’s Celebration of Life service will be held at Burns Funeral Home of Perry on Saturday, Dec. 13, at noon with Pastor Josh Johnson officiating.
