Lester Tyrone Flowers III

Lester Tyrone Flowers III, 62, of Perry passed on Dec. 9, 2025. He was born in Perry to Bertha Mintz and Lester Tyrone Flowers Jr. on Aug. 5, 1963. Lester grew up in Foley and was a member of the Taylor County High School Class of 1981. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bertha Mintz, and brother, Joseph Mintz. He leaves to cherish his memory: his father, Lester Tyrone Flowers III Lester (Florita) Flowers Jr.; brothers, Anthony L. White, Andrew Mintz and Ramone (Voldryii) Dean; sisters, April (Walter) Ales, Teresa Hampton and Felicia (Leonard) Boyd; nieces, Tiffany McLeod, Victoria (Shane) Bailey and Takashi Gray; nephews, Christopher McLeod Jr., Caelon Ales and Leroy Williams; uncles, Vernon (Winifred) Bishop and Walter Bishop; aunts, Thelma Bishop, Marilyn Conett Bishop and Bonita (Roderick) Williams; cherished friend, Crystal Jackson; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. His family would like to thank everyone for the condolences and prayers at this sorrowful time. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 20, at 1 p.m. at Trinity House of Praise. Eric A.
