    TCHS, TCMS gifted 550 used desks by Valdosta Stat University

    Taylor County Middle School (TCMS) students exchanged old desks for new “slightly used” ones from Valdosta State University on Wednesday after a subcontractor working on projects for both schools brokered a donation of 550 desks valued at around $150,000.

    New desks for students have been at the top of the “wish list” for Taylor County Middle School for more than a year, and for more than three years for students, teachers and administrators at Taylor County High School.
