Foskey sentenced to 60 days under plea deal for walking away from work detail in July 2024

More than 18 months after walking away from an unsupervised work detail in July 2024, which led to a five-day manhunt and the resignation of a Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) inmate work crew supervisor, Ricky Dale Foskey, 46, was sentenced to 60 days in county jail under a plea agreement signed Monday, Dec. 15 with the State Attorney’s Office.
