City must scrap three work trucks from fleet

In order to qualify for $1.2 million in grant funding that will be used to purchase three new garbage trucks, the City of Perry has agreed to “scrap” and remove three other work trucks from its fleet, as required under conditions in a state diesel emission mitigation program.
