    New location, same plans

    Work is underway to transform the old Glover’s Hardware Building into the Salty Anchor — Perry’s first-ever “tap house” — serving up a variety of craft beer and wine selections in downtown Perry. This artist’s rendering above shows how the building will look from Drew Street after new exterior paint, signage and awnings scheduled to be completed in the next few weeks.

    Although the location has changed, work continues on transforming a long-vacant downtown location into the Salty Anchor Tap House – a new family-friendly craft beer and wine establishment designed to bring more entertainment and visitors to Perry’s historic downtown district.
