The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) seeks input and invites the public to a series of meetings starting April 1 on deer management in hunting zones B and C in north and central Florida.
The FWC is in the process of establishing deer management units (DMUs) throughout the state. DMUs are intended to allow the FWC more flexibility with deer management based upon deer populations, habitat conditions and public preference within each of the units.
