Hickory Mound clean-up day

The Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission will host a clean-up event at the Hickory Mound Impoundment on Saturday, April 25, from 9 a.m. – 12 noon.

If interested in participating, please meet at the end of Cow Creek Grade at the southeast corner of the impoundment at 9 a.m. Refreshments will be provided, but participants should bring water, bug spray, boots and work gloves.

“We look forward to seeing you there to help us improve the conditions of your public conservation lands for the benefit of wildlife and the enjoyment of the public,” FWC officials said.
