    School board votes down Wentworth’s request to replace district attorney Ball

    Local attorney Angela Ball (right), who is in her 35th year serving as the school board’s attorney, was retained by a 4-1 vote Tuesday, despite Superintendent of School Reggie Wentworth’s request the school district “move forward in a new direction…in building my team,” later adding that comments made by Ball during the meeting “demonstrates the fact that she isn’t on the team.”

    Superintendent of Schools Reggie Wentworth’s recommendation to replace School Board Attorney Angela Ball failed by a 4-1 vote of the Taylor County School Board during the school district’s Tuesday, March 24, meeting in Steinhatchee.
