A Saturday evening wildfire in the area of Potts-Still Road is now 100% contained after consuming approximately 30 acres. Firefighting crews from the Florida Forestry Service (FFS) and Taylor County Fire-Rescue Service responded to the blaze around 10:30 p.m. Saturday. FFS crews continued mop-up work on Monday, according to FFS Communications Manager Tim Brown. The cause of the fire, which was quickly contained despite high winds, was not released.
