FDEP extends public comment period, adds an hour to April 23 meeting on Foley permit

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) has extended the public comment period concerning a draft permit that would allow Georgia-Pacific (GP) to move the discharge point of the now-closed Foley Cellulose mill’s treated effluent from the end of the pipeline near the mouth of the Fenholloway River back to its original discharge point near the mill site.
