    Perry Aldi targeting May 28 opening

    Construction crews are nearing completion of new facade work and painting on the exterior of the new Aldi grocery store in the Taylor Square Shopping Center that previously housed Perry’s Winn-Dixie. The fastest-growing grocery store chain in the U.S. has tentatively set May 28 as a projected opening date, barring any unforeseen delays.

    Contractors are entering the final stages of remodeling work to transform the former Winn-Dixie supermarket located in Taylor Square Shopping Center into a new Aldi — one of the fastest-growing grocery stores in the United States.
