The deadline for the Friends of the Taylor County Library’s 20th annual Short Story Contest is this Friday, April 10.
All entries must be turned in by 5:30 p.m.
The entry fee is $5 per story.
A full list of rules and guidelines are available at the library, which is located at 403 N. Washington St. in Perry.
The contest has three age categories: youth (grade 5 and below), student (grades 6-12) and adult.
The winning stories and authors will be announced on Friday, May 22.
