Value Adjustment Board hearing on Four Rivers’ appeal postponed until April 9

A scheduling conflict delayed the Taylor County Value Adjustment Board’s (VAB) scheduled Thursday, April 2, meeting by one week, which means a decision on an appeal filed by Four Rivers Land & Timber Company over the legality of the company’s $351,909 increased ad valorem tax bill for 2025 is now set for this Thursday, April 9 at 5 p.m.
