Have you experienced the impact of hurricanes in Taylor County?
Your voice matters.
The Rural Health Lab and the University of Florida/IFAS Extension invite community members to join a Community Listening Session on Rural Hurricane Resilience via Zoom planned Tuesday, May 19, from noon 1 p.m.
“This is an opportunity to share your experiences, challenges and ideas about how hurricanes affect health, access to services and community recovery,” Taylor County Extension Director Lori Wiggins said.
“Your input will help shape future disaster preparedness and recovery efforts in rural coastal communities,” she said.
Participants who complete the listening session and brief demographic survey will receive a $25 Visa gift card.
To register or learn more, please contact Wiggins at 850-838-3508 or e-mail lwiggins@ufl.edu.
