Free Vaccine Clinic will be held May 16 at Forest Capital Hall

    Posted on May 13, 2026

Thanks to a recent donation, Taylor County Animal Advocates (TCAA) will be offering deeply discounted rabies vaccines – just $5 each – at the May Free Pet Vaccine Clinic, which will be held this Saturday, May 16, from 9 a.m. to noon at Forest Capital Hall.

The rabies vaccines, which must be administrated by a veterinarian, are normally given at a reduced rate of $15. Tropical Oasis Mobile Grooming will be offering $10 nail trims.

No registration is required, and all healthy dogs and cats are welcome.

Cats must be in carriers, and dogs must arrive with a collar and leash.

“Some of the most common and deadly pet diseases are preventable. Please help us stop the spread and ensure your pets are vaccinated,” TCAA President Jackie Koeller said.
