Scallop mixer to be held June 2 in Steinhatchee

The Steinhatchee River Chamber of Commerce will hold a “Scallop Season Opener” mixer on June 2 from 6-8 p.m. at the American Legion Post in Steinhatchee.

“This is a unique opportunity to connect with local business owners and prepare for the upcoming scallop season,” Chamber officials said.

“Enjoy light snacks and cash beverages while networking with fellow community business members. This event, hosted by the American Legion, is the perfect chance to build relationships and get ready for a successful season,” the Chamber states.

“The event will take place from 6-8 p.m., allowing you to mingle with local business members, enjoy light snacks provided by the American Legion and purchase beverages. This is a great opportunity to get acquainted with the community and prepare for the scallop season,” Chamber officials added.

The American Legion Post 291, located at 220 11th Street SE, will provide a welcoming atmosphere for all attendees.
