County considering tax abatement for Roy’s to assist restaurant rebuild

The Taylor County Commission is considering providing a property tax abatement incentive to Roy’s Restaurant, which is in the process of rebuilding after the Steinhatchee landmark was completely destroyed by Hurricane Helene in 2024.
