    Florida State Guard cleans Dekle, conducts crisis training at Keaton

    In addition to storm debris clean-up at Dekle Beach and food distribution at Keaton Beach, members of the Florida State Guard participated in land and water-based search and rescue exercises while visiting the Taylor County coastal areas last week.

    Many Taylor County coastal residents may have noticed what appeared to be an increased military presence around Dekle Beach and Keaton Beach last week, as some 80 members of the Florida State Guard conducted debris clean-up, food distribution, field exercises and training operations.
