    Perry’s Popeyes is closing due to bankruptcy case

    Perry’s Popeyes location closed its doors this week as part of a bankruptcy restructuring by Miami-based franchisee Sailormen, Inc., which has been unable to sell or liquidate approximately 38 stores in Florida and Georgia out of a total 136 it operated.

    Perry’s Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, once welcomed with long lines of traffic stretching onto U.S. Highway 19, is closing this week as part of a larger bankruptcy restructuring affecting dozens of locations across Florida and Georgia.
