‘Stand Your Ground’ hearing held June 30

A $300 debt and six seconds in a parking lot. That was the crux of a “Stand Your Ground” argument brought before Circuit Judge Greg Parker during a motion hearing held Tuesday morning on behalf of Jacques Freeman, who has been charged with first degree murder for the February 2025 shooting death of Terry Griffin, 43.
