County seeks state grant to cover local cost-share for federal channel dredging

The Taylor County Commission is considering seeking two state Rural Infrastructure Fund (RIF) grants to secure the $1.5 million in local matching funds necessary to pay for planned federal dredging of the Keaton Beach and Steinhatchee River channels, as well as a grant match for new hangars at Perry-Foley Airport.
