Stranded boaters rescued after vessel took on water in storm

Less than an hour after making a frantic distress call from a disabled vessel that was taking on water in the Gulf during a torrential thunderstorm Monday morning, a boater and his family were safely aboard a rescue vessel and headed to shore.
