Salty Anchor owners asking city to lease sidewalk space

Emily Grant of the Salty Anchor Taphouse and building owner Shane Williamson are requesting the city lease a six-foot section of sidewalk next to the new business to allow outside food and drink service. The city council will consider an ordinance allowing for similar agreements around the city on publicly-owned sidewalks.
Salty Anchor Taphouse owner Emily Grant and building owner Shane Williamson went before the Perry City Council this week to request the city lease a narrow strip of downtown sidewalk along Drew Street for outside seating and the consumption of food and drink.
