Benefit softball game Aug. 22 at Sports Complex

Teams from across the area, including Tallahassee and Valdosta, will take part in a benefit softball game this Saturday, Aug. 22, at the Taylor County Sports Complex.

Games will begin at 8 a.m. Admission is free, and donations are welcome at the gate.

Concessions, including hot dogs, pizza, drinks, chips and candy, will also be available.

Tickets for fundraiser prize drawings will also be available, and you do not need to be present to win. Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5. Prizes include: a large cooler, UWS tool box, American Aluminum tool box, tools, one or two night stay at Steinhatchee Marina, fishing rod and reel, softball bag, wicker chair, flat screen (55-inch) television, skeet shoot machine, $100 gift certificate for Horns & Scales, a bucket of tools from O’Reilly Auto Parts, $400 credit for an elite bounce house rental, four tickets to Wild Adventures, 18-hole golf package, fishing charter with Joel Baldtree and miscellaneous gift cards.
