    Construction of new Roy’s Restaurant now underway

    The owners of Roy’s Restaurant in Steinhatchee have thanked Scott Peters Jr. and Crabbie Dad’s for being such “good neighbors” and allowing the “Taste of Roy’s” food trailer (above) to locate across the street from where the “Roy’s rebuild” construction project began this past week.

    Nearly two years after Hurricane Helene reduced the iconic eatery along the banks of the Steinhatchee River to a concrete slab, Roy’s Restaurant is rising again.
