County transfers $500,000 for Steinhatchee flood project

The Taylor County Commission has agreed to transfer $500,000 from its general fund reserves to cover a funding shortfall that would allow it to move forward with the flood mitigation project proposed for the area of 13th Street East and Central Avenue in Steinhatchee.
