Registration now open for Let’s Walk Florida

Are you ready to move more, feel better and have some fun along the way?

UF/IFAS Extension Taylor County invites the entire community to lace up their walking shoes and join Let’s Walk, Florida!, a free six-week physical activity program beginning Monday, Oct. 5.

“Let’s Walk, Florida! is designed to help Floridians make physical activity a regular and enjoyable part of their lives. Whether you are an experienced walker, just getting started or simply looking for a little extra motivation, everyone is welcome and youth are invited to participate too,” UF/IFAS Extension Office Director Lori Wiggins said.

Grab your family, friends, coworkers or neighbors and form a team, or sign up as a solo walker. The fun begins Monday, Oct. 5 from noon to 1 p.m.

Participants can join in person at the UF/IFAS Extension Taylor County Office, located at 203 Forest Park Drive in Perry, or participate virtually through Zoom.

Group check-ins will be held each Monday for six weeks.
