Pet contest deadline: Oct. 16

Fur-babies will get their chance to shine at this year’s Florida Forest Festival — in a Pet Photo Contest that will benefit Taylor County Animal Advocates.

Entries, which must be enlarged to a 5×7 (matted) are being accepted at Photos, Frames & Trophies (102 East Main Street), and must also be e-mailed to taylorchamber@fairpoint.net.

Categories include: dogs,cats and other (mammal, bird, reptile, etc.)

The deadline to enter the contest is Friday, Oct. 16. Winners will be announced on the “I Love Taylor County” and Florida Forest Festival Facebook pages.
