City council finalizes $33 million 2026-27 budget

The Perry City Council completed its 2026-27 budget process Tuesday night, approving a $33 million fiscal-year budget, a 6.1077-mill property tax rate and a package of utility rate and fee increases that take effect with the start of the city’s new fiscal year beginning Oct. 1.
