The names and addresses of the personal representative and the personal representative’s attorney are set forth below.
All creditors of the decedent and other persons having claims or demands against decedent’s estate on whom a copy of this notice is required to be served must file their claims with this court WITHIN THE LATER OF 3 MONTHS AFTER THE TIME OF THE FIRST PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE OR 30 DAYS AFTER THE DATE OF SERVICE OF A COPY OF THIS NOTICE ON THEM.

REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
LEGAL COUNSEL SERVICES
The Taylor County Development Authority (TCDA), a non-profit corporation whose purpose is to promote and increase quality economic development in Taylor County, Florida, invites statements of qualifications from attorneys and law firms to serve as its general legal counsel.
Services include advising the Board and staff; attending monthly Board meetings; preparing and reviewing contracts, resolutions, real estate documents, and economic development agreements; advising on public records, open meetings, ethics, and applicable laws; and providing other legal services as authorized by the Board.
Respondents must identify the attorney who will have primary responsibility for the engagement and confirm that the attorney is a member in good standing of The Florida Bar. Submissions should include the firm’s contact information; resumes and relevant experience, particularly representing Florida public bodies and handling economic development and real estate matters; availability to attend meetings and respond promptly; three client references; disclosure of actual or potential conflicts of interest; and proposed hourly rates, any retainer arrangement, and reimbursable expenses.
Statements of qualifications must be RECEIVED by 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. Submit one PDF by email only to a.portwood@tcdaperry.com, with the subject line “TCDA Legal Counsel RFQ.” Submissions by mail or hand delivery will not be accepted. The deadline is for receipt, not transmission. Late submissions will not be considered.
TCDA will evaluate relevant experience and qualifications, ability to provide timely service, references, conflicts of interest, and proposed fees. TCDA may interview respondents and negotiate the scope of services and compensation. Any engagement is subject to Board approval and a mutually acceptable written agreement. TCDA reserves the right to reject any or all submissions, waive minor irregularities, and discontinue this solicitation. Respondents bear all costs of preparing and submitting their qualifications.

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Chapter 373, Florida Statutes, the following application for permit was received on September 9, 2026:
Joe Anderson III, PO Box 346, Old Town, FL 32680-0346 has submitted an environmental resource permit (ERP) application #ERP-123-246129-3. The project is located in Taylor County, Sections 23 and 26, Township 9 South, Range 9 East, and includes a total project area of 14.05-acres.
Interested persons may comment upon the application or submit a written request for a staff report containing proposed agency action regarding the application by writing to the Suwannee River Water Management District, Attn: Resource Management, 9225 C.R. 49, Live Oak, Florida 32060. Such comments or requests must be received by 5:00 PM within 14 days from the date of publication.
No further public notice will be provided regarding this application. A copy of the staff report must be requested in order to remain advised of further proceedings.
