Commission approves $117.6 million 2026-27 county budget in a 4-1 vote

County commissioners gave final approval to the Taylor County’s $117.6 million 2026-27 budget in a 4-1 vote during a public hearing Sept. 21, with outgoing Commissioner Pam Feagle warning that spending could “bankrupt this county.”
