    Perry man, 33, facing animal cruelty charges

    The Taylor County Sheriff’s Office recently thanked the Madison County Sheriff’s Office — who operates Madison County Sheriff’s Office Animal Services — for assisting with the execution of a search warrant related to an aggravated animal cruelty investigation that included the remains of at least 18 dogs, including puppies.

    While investigating an animal cruelty complaint, law enforcement officers documented the remains of at least 18 dogs and puppies discarded at a Pisgah Road property in an area the suspect referred to as “The Boneyard.”
