Kallschmidt is regional champ

Taylor County High senior Luke Kallschmidt placed first in the 300 meter hurdles in the Class 2A, Region 1 track meet held last week at Jacksonville-Bowles High School.

Kallschmidt’s time of 38.84 seconds was his best of the season and qualified him for the state finals to be held at Jacksonville University on May 2.
