    School district seeks answers to questions about new state exam

    With local students continuing to take the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT), district officials are already working to learn what they can about the exam which will replace it next year.

    Florida Department of Education Commissioner Pam Stewart announced in March that the state had selected the not-for-profit American Institutes for Research (AIR) to develop a new test to replace the FCAT 2.0 exams beginning with the 2014-15 school year.
