Ready for summer? Safety expo will feature bicycle rodeo, free helmets

The 2014 Summer Safety Expo & Bike Rodeo will be held Saturday, May 17, at Taylor County Elementary School from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Local youth and their families are invited to “bring their bicycles” and come out for a day of fun. Activities will include free car seat checks, summer boating safety tips, emergency vehicle tours and a bicycle rodeo.

Admission is free; free bicycle helmets will be given away and participants will be able to register to win a free bicycle. Free refreshments will also be served.
