Review: In ‘I Origins,’ the answers to our questions are in the eye

Not surprising considering its name, but “I Origins” is all about eyes. It is a film that asks many questions and rather than giving us easy answers, it forces the audience to ask even more. It is a story about humanity. It is a story about love. It is a story about science. It is a story about faith. It is a story that tries to bridge the gaps between all of these things without forcing an agenda upon us, allowing us to make up our own minds.

Arriving in a limited release in a crowded August market, I’m not sure how many people will see this movie (I was the only person in the showing I watched), but is a film worth watching if you’re looking for a movie that will make you think.

“I Origins” is a small film with big questions and one that is sure to spark a conversation or two, unless you’re like me and you see it in an empty theater.

The film is rated R for some sexuality/nudity and language.
