    9 years later, sex offender sent to prison

    A 61-year-old convicted sex offender is likely to spend his final days in prison after avoiding incarceration for nearly nine years following a 2005 molestation conviction.

    Edward C. Webb, a former deputy from Lee County, was recently sentenced to 115 and one-half months in prison by Judge Cynthia Munkittrick after being found guilty of a third violation of probation (VOP) charge this summer.
