Just days after being released by the Pittsburgh Steelers former Taylor County High great LeGarrette Blount suited up with the New England Patriots Sunday and produced two touchdowns and 78 yards rushing to help lead the Patriots to a 34-9 victory over Detroit.
The big running back carried the ball 12 times during the contest and scored on two short runs. He averaged 7.8 yards per carry and had a long run of 33 yards.
