The clock is now running on a series of wastewater treatment improvements at Foley-GP that will eventually lead to a pipeline diverting the flow from the mill to the lower marine portion of the Fenholloway River.
GP Environmental Manager Chet Thompson told members of the Perry Kiwanis Club on Wednesday that the six-year project would eventually return the freshwater portion of the Fenholloway to Class III (fishable/swimmable) standards with the lower portion of the river meeting marine standards.
