City: Restaurants may now serve alcohol on Sundays

Enjoy wine with dinner? Or a cold beer?

Starting this Sunday, residents will be able to dine out and order an alcoholic drink with their meal because of an amendment adopted by the Perry City Council Tuesday.

The council re-tooled its alcohol ordinance to allow restaurants to serve drinks on Sundays as an economic development marketing incentive.
