A combined 116 years of service to the Taylor County School District was honored at a ceremony Tuesday afternoon during which the Educators’ Hall of Fame received three new members: Phyllis Capell, Irene R. Fews and Margie King Sheffield.
Family, friends and co-workers gathered to recognize the former educators and their accomplishments during their tenure with the district.
