NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, THAT THE TAYLOR COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WILL HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING APRIL  16, 2013 AT 5:30 P.M. TO RECEIVE PUBLIC INPUT AND NOTIFY THE  PUBLIC OF THE  POSSIBLE GRANT APPLICATION  TO  THE FLORIDA  DEPARTMENT OF STATE, CULTURAL FACILITIES GRANT PROGRAM  FOR THE 2013-2014 FUNDING CYCLE. NOTICE OF ENACTMENT OF ORDINANCE
(PURSUANT TO FLORIDA STATUTE 125.66)
Notice is hereby given that the Board of County Commissioners of Taylor County, Florida will hold a public hearing on the passage of the proposed Ordinance which amends the Taylor County Code of Ordinances, Chapter 42, Land Development Code, Article IX, Improvement Standards, Division 2, Transportation Systems, Section 42-889(e), the public hearing shall be held at the Board of County Commission Meeting Room, Taylor County Administrative Complex, Old Post Office Building in Perry, Florida, at the regular board meeting on April 16, 2013, at 5:35 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible. The title of the proposed ordinance is:
AN ORDINANCE OF TAYLOR COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE TAYLOR COUNTY LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE, AS AMENDED; AMENDING SECTION 42-889, ENTITLED RIGHTS-OF-WAY, SUBSECTION (e), ALLOWING LONG TERM PARKING OF RECREATIONAL VEHICLES ON PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS; PROVIDING SEVERABILITY; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
The proposed ordinance may be inspected by the public at the office of the County Administrator at the Taylor County Administrative Complex, located at 201 East Green Street, Perry, Florida 32347.
The public hearing may be continued to one or more future dates.  Any interested party shall be advised that the date, time and place of any continuation of the public hearing shall be announced during the public hearing and that no further notice concerning the matter will be published, unless said continuation exceeds six calendar weeks from the date of the above referenced public hearing.
All members of the public are welcome to attend. Notice is further given, pursuant to Florida Statute 286.0105, that any person or persons deciding to appeal any matter considered at this public hearing will need a record of the hearing and may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings in made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based.
