Sexual predator fails to register, gets 36 months

A convicted sexual predator who failed to re-register with authorities was sentenced to three years in prison Monday, March 9.

Michael Scott Pierce, 50, was required to re-register with the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) in December; in January, Lt. Marty Nowlin received an email notice from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) stating Pierce had failed to re-register as a sexual predator.
