Florida residents and non-residents will be able to go fishing without freshwater recreational licenses April 4 and April 5. Gov. Rick Scott and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission designated the dates as freshwater license-free fishing days.
On these days, the fishing license requirement is waived for all recreational anglers (residents and non-residents).
